Larksong is going on the road! We've partnered with the Brownville Education Center for the Arts and Humanities (BECAH) to provide a day-long writing workshop that features three of our alumni teachers: Lucy Adkins, Nick Salestrom, and Karen Gettert Shoemaker.

In the morning, Lucy Adkins will start us off with "Finding the Poet Within: A Poetry Writing Workshop." Then Nick Salestrom will teach "Writing on Dragonback: Finding Inspiration in Fantasy and Science-Fiction." We'll break for lunch, where you can support BECAH by purchasing some streetside BBQ at their Whole Hog Roast! Finally, Karen Gettert Shoemaker will finish out the day with "Reimagining the Journal: Creative, Visual, and Unexpected Approaches to the Writer's Notebook."

Don't forget to check out BECAH's featured exhibitions and collections while you're there! This is sure to be a day of creativity and inspiration that will give your writing practice a boost during the height of summer.
