Featuring The Zooeys • Isiah Driessen & The New People • Jacklyn Rose

Every song starts somewhere. So does every story.

On October 17, Liminal Space Lyrics and Larksong Writers Place are bringing artists, writers, musicians, and people who simply like being around creative work into the same room.

The evening features live performances from Lincoln’s The Zooeys and Wisconsin artists Isiah Driessen & The New People and Jacklyn Rose, but it isn't meant to be just another night of music. It’s an invitation to slow down, share a drink, hear what other people are making, and spend some time in conversation.

Larksong is a place for writers. Liminal Space Lyrics is interested in the space where music, stories, people, and place overlap. So rather than drawing a line between the people onstage and everyone else in the room, we’re opening the door.

Come with a song. Come with a poem. Come with something half-finished. Come because you write, make music, tell stories, read them, listen to them, or because you’re curious about what other people are making.

There will be music, refreshments, conversation, and plenty of room for the evening to become whatever it becomes.
