Free Will Donation Fundraiser - Part of Larksong's Give to Lincoln Day Activities

Quantity: 

The day begins at 9 am when the Name Your Own Price Used Book Sale opens. All the funds raised through book sales will go to support Larksong’s operating costs.

From 10 am to 4 pm, every hour on the hour a there’ll be a new event:

10 am: Live Music! Pam and Randy Barger will wake up the neighborhood with some great music on the patio.

11 am: Lincoln writers, Mary Pipher, Twyla Hansen, and Marge Saiser will read from their work. Their reading will be followed by a writing sprint. Come prepared to write during each of the writing sprints!

     Baba’s Food Truck will be serving food from 11 to 2 pm in the parking lot.

Noon: Reading by Larksong Writing Group Members, including Cary Deane, Linda Kallhoff, and Jen Ipperson

1 pm. Music! Featuring Julia Williams on the accordion.

2 pm. Second reading and writing sprint with slam poets Bianca Swift and Samuel Nichols leading the way.

3 pm. Third reading and writing sprint with Larksong writers reading from published work written in Larksong workshops or groups. Including Marcia Forecki, Keith Ludden, and Kathryn Hain.

4 pm. Music and comedy! Dorothy Ramsey on vocals and keyboard for a rollicking take on some familiar tunes.
Local stand-up comedienne Serenity Dougherty will close out the day 

Public is welcome! Free will donations through Give To Lincoln Day Fund will be accepted and welcome!

Come prepared to write! Bring your notebooks or your laptops!
