This workshop is for anyone who wants to do a bit of exploring:

Writers, visual artists, entrepreneurs, single moms, people with health challenges, teachers, people in healing professions, people undergoing life transitions, stressed-out people, people looking to make a change . . .

We’ll spend a little time at the beginning of the first session talking about some of the many ways you can use journaling to raise questions, make discoveries, gain clarity. (And, no, you don’t have to write every day.)

Each week, I will share three writing prompts designed to encourage you to talk with yourself in new and meaningful ways.

You won’t be asked to share what you write, but after each timed writing, you will have the opportunity to talk about what you observed or discovered.

This workshop will be a safe, inviting space for everyone - those who have never journaled before, those who have journaled from time to time, and those who journal regularly. There is something almost magical about writing, listening, and sharing in community.

Pam Sourelis is a graduate of the Vermont College (now Vermont College of Fine Arts) MFA in fiction writing program. She is a published writer (short fiction and non-fiction) and an experienced writing instructor and workshop leader. She has taught for DePaul and Loyola universities in Chicago, the Illinois Writing Project, Ragdale Foundation (a non-profit artists’ community), and the Masters in Writing Program of Southern New Hampshire University, and has independently taught writing workshops for adults for over 25 years.

Pam is also a creative writing coach/mentor developmental editor, and animal communicator.
